The Garden Escape is installing Elfin Kitchen’s compact kitchen pods in its bespoke timber garden buildings to help enhance their usability amongst customers. Fitted in response to growing demand, the buildings can be used for a wide range of day to day activities.
The Garden Escape supplies a wide range of timber garden buildings to suit every need whilst the incorporation of an Elfin Kitchen allows customers to use the space to its full potential. Before a unit is supplied, The Garden Escape consults directly with the customer to ascertain their needs. An integrated unit is then installed, fully plumbed and connected to the mains electricity supply.
Tom Hillier from The Garden Escape, said: “To date, we have fitted around eight Elfin Kitchens in our garden buildings, with more in the pipeline. Depending on the needs of our customers, we have installed Elfin Kitchens in varying sizes and finishes to help make the most of the building without impeding on useable floor space whilst enhancing the look of the building once complete.”
“With our customers using our garden buildings for anything from a work space to overnight guest accommodation, the integration of an Elfin kitchen is helping us to boost the usability of the units amongst those who may not have previously thought it would meet their very specific needs.”
He continued: “From a business perspective, we chose to work with Elfin Kitchens due to their ability to deliver a fully useable kitchen that would enhance the look of the building’s interior. We wanted to avoid installing anything that would look like a ‘bolt on’ extra and we think the integration of the Elfin units meets this need perfectly.”
Elfin Kitchen units are available in 1000, 1200 and 1500mm sizes allowing the most appropriate size to be selected for the garden building in question. Manufactured using powder coated steel in either a white or stainless steel effect finish, the kitchen units are incredibly hardwearing yet stylish, making them ideal for use in this situation.
The units themselves comprise two hotplates, a combination oven, ‘A rated’ fridge and a smart stainless steel sink complete with a monobloc mixer tap. From a usability perspective, Elfin can also supply a range of wall cupboards, extractor fans, stainless steel splashbacks and extended worktops depending on the use of the kitchen in situ. Similarly, for the style conscious, a ceramic hob option can be fitted in place of the hotplates to deliver a clean, smart appearance.
Elfin Kitchens deliver a robust and durable addition to any space and are ideal for use in a ‘garden escape’ style situation. Requiring very little upkeep, the kitchens will continue to look as good as the garden building in which they are installed for many years to come.Back
