General kitchen FAQs
Prices shown on the price list include – fridge, taps, waste kit, handles, worktop, hob and where applicable microwave, combination microwave oven, dishwasher or oven. There are no hidden extras. The only extra cost is a choice of additions and delivery +VAT. Please call us for delivery charges. (NB: Entry range does not include tap.)
All Elfin Kitchens are guaranteed for a period of one year from date of delivery, therefore please keep your delivery note and invoice as proof of purchase.
All warranties are managed by Elfin kitchens if you experience any issues please do contact us on 01206 545 700.
If for any reason you do experience a problem then just contact the manufacturer direct or Elfin for guidance and help resolving the problem. If you experience problems beyond the 1 year guarantee period we hold a comprehensive range of spares.

Every Elfin compact kitchen is supplied securely packaged in a corrugated cardboard box outer with internal corrugated edging and supports. (Please be sure to recycle all packaging materials.) The larger sized kitchens (1200mm +) are mounted on 12mm chipboard to help prevent distortion when manoeuvring into position.
We hold many models in stock. Following payment we can deliver within 3 working days or quicker if necessary. If we do not have the specified unit we can normally deliver on site within 3 weeks from order.
Yes, we can deliver up to 70 kitchens direct to site at the appropriate times within 3-4 weeks of order.
Yes, all our kitchens can be dismantled into manageable sections and easily reassembled near its installation. Please look at the ‘How to’ section for the dismantling guides, or please call the office for help and advice.
Yes, we do have wall cupboards and larder cupboards to match our kitchens, please take a look at our additions section, under products on the website where you will find a range of sizes and colours.
Almost every appliance including the hotplates has at least a 1 metre flex and 13amp plug fitted (with the exception of the fan oven). We strongly advise you consult your electrician regarding the supply requirements. We do provide first fix instructions with socket outlet locations – please see the ‘installation’ section for the first fix guides.

Yes, all our compact kitchens have a WRAS–approved monobloc tap included in the price (NB: The Entry range does not include a tap.) We also have several different upgraded options for you to chose from, including Quooker boiling water taps. Please check out the additions page on the website under products for our full range of taps.
We have a very well stocked showroom with 15 different kitchens on display and if the particular model you’re interested in is not on display there is every chance we will have one in our warehouse where we stock nearly 300 kitchens ready for quick despatch.
Yes, all kitchens have the appropriate waste kit to suit its design. However, you will need to supply your own 40mm trap.
No, the units are handed (left and right), you can specify the side you require the sink. The sink side has a 50mm void between unit and wall allowing plenty of room for both the waste and water supply. Please note that this void does not continue behind the fridge.
Yes, the majority of our kitchens come with a 114ltr fridge, which includes a 14ltr freezer compartment. This is with the exception of The Entry range which has a 81ltr fridge and includes a 10ltr icebox.
If you do require a compact kitchen without a fridge we can do this by simply replacing it with a 500mm cupboard, microwave housing or drawer set (not an option on the Entry range). Please do call us for a quotation.
Delivery is a book-in service so the forwarders will telephone you to agree a day for delivery. It will be anytime between 8am and 5pm on the day you have agreed with the forwarding company. Delivery is a one man, kerb side only service, so please make sure you have help on site to move the units into and through the property. The driver will help where they can but will not be able to lift or carry your order into or through the property. Delivery will only be made to the nearest suitable spot. This may be the pavement if an obstacle or unsuitable surface is present (e.g. gravel, steps). It is not the driver’s responsibility to move the goods around the site. Please check your delivery when you receive it – any damages must be reported to us at time of receipt. You have the right to refuse delivery of a damaged item, please inform us immediately by telephone if this is the case.
The units vary in weight and we would recommend at least 2 physically fit people to safely manoeuvre the units around the site and into position.
It is strongly advised that your tradesmen/fitters are not booked in until goods have been delivered and checked.
All the kitchens are made from powder coated steel, with either a 304-grade stainless steel or laminate work top.
The kitchens arrive completely prebuilt for easy installation. All that is required is to fix your appliances in place, connect your plumbing and electrics the kitchen is then ready for use.
No, we have introduced our Designline range, which comes with a choice of Egger laminate worktop finishes. Where required samples can be supplied.
Yes, we are now fully E-commerce and therefore orders can be placed and paid for directly through the website. If we feel we need to discuss your order with you, we will give you a call within 2 working days.
Yes we do offer a discount on orders of 5 units or more. Please contact the team on 01206 545700 for more details.
No, as our kitchens are prebuilt and easy to install, we do not offer installation however we do have installation guides on our website should you need them. Please see the support section on our website for all our guides.
