Suitable for use in private and social housing situations, and areas where space is limited, Elfin’s kitchen range is available in three styles, according to the individual budget and décor of the property. Delivered on site as one complete unit, complete with an appropriate waste kit, the kitchens are ready to be fitted and plumbed directly to the service pipes, making installation quick and simple.
The standard unit version, which is manufactured using white powder coated steel with complementary stainless steel handles, comprises a sink with a monobloc mixer tap, an ‘A rated’ fridge, microwave and two hotplates.
In accommodation where cost must be kept to a minimum, Elfin’s economy unit offers the ideal solution. Fitted with the key appliances supplied in the standard version, the economy unit is fitted with preformed doors to help keep cost down. In areas where further interior style is sought, the range of units is also available in a brushed stainless steel finish.
Bob Andrew, Managing Director of Elfin Kitchens commented, “Under the Housing Act 2004, an ‘A rated’, energy efficient fridge is recommended as part of the minimum standards for houses in multiple occupation. By supplying this with our kitchens as standard, we are making our kitchens even more attractive to the landlord in terms of compliance to the Housing Act, and the tenant, when considering ever increasing energy bills.”
He continued, “In short, our range of kitchens are designed to provide a compact food preparation area in buildings where space is limited whilst retaining the aesthetics associated with larger kitchen units. By providing compatible appliances, which are included in the complete price, our units are ideal for use in any space where a kitchen is required.”
From a corporate perspective, Elfin Kitchens is now also compliant to the WEEE directive set in place to ensure the necessary procedure is followed to dispose of electrical goods in a safe and responsible manner, eradicating the risk of sending waste goods to landfill.
