Elfin Kitchens supplied five Premium Range kitchens to Jack’s Alt-Stays, an eco-conscious, self-catering concept on The Isle of Cumbrae known as “Scotland’s Most Accessible Island”
Jack’s Alt-Stays was founded by two cousins, Daniel Jack & Adam Jack, who share a passion for adventure, unique experiences, and the environment. The business is on a mission to work with like-minded suppliers to create unique spaces for an unforgettable travel experience, so we were delighted to be chosen to supply their compact kitchens.
It was important for us to have a kitchen that was durable in a self-catering setting, and we have no doubts that they’re fit for our purpose.

Elfin supplied each cabin with either a Slate Grey or Black Premium range 1700mm prebuilt kitchen. These self-catering cabins needed to provide both a homely and functional environment for its guests, so every kitchen was fully equipped with a full- size oven and grill, halogen hob, fridge, cutlery draw and soft close storage space and microwave oven.
Style and impact was hugely important and the kitchens needed to compliment the bold colour schemes of the individual cabins. Elfin supplied each kitchen with bespoke glass splashbacks that were RAL colour matched to the cabin colour and added extra over-head storage with built-in microwave and extractor fan to maximise the practicality of the space.
