Elfin supplied this exciting apart-hotel project in Worcester with 17 high
specification Premium 1500mm kitchens. Fitted with vibrant coloured glass
splash-backs from the Elfin colour range, every kitchen incorporated and
induction hob, fridge, combination microwave, designer extractors, dry storage
space and brushed stainless steel worktops for the ultimate luxury feel.

Nick Carroll , Director at Livity explains: Livity is a forward-looking, design-led apartment and apart-hotel
operator. We obtained a large site in Broad Street, Worcester Town Centre to re-purpose into a mixeduse
development with micro-apartments, penthouse suites and offices at ground floor.

We attempted to design a micro-kitchen with standard units, but we simply could not achieve a
compact kitchen size of 1500mm wide and certainly not in a cost-effective way. Thankfully, we found
Elfin Kitchens and realised the wheel had already been invented – we were further surprised when the
company owner brought a full kitchen out to our offices to allow the quality to be inspected.

I was impressed by the sturdy construction whichincluded everything required for compact living.

Nick Carroll, Director at Livity

We were impressed by the sturdy steel construction which included everything required for compact
living. The choice of colours satisfied our modern design inclinations and the combination of modern
dark grey finish and the inclusion of striking lime green backsplashes gave a quality feel.”.

Of the experience Nick said “Elfin’s prompt customer after care offered further reassurance on the
product and an order was quickly assembled for 17 Elfin kitchens, including for my own architect practice
offices on the ground floor. We are now busy designing Livity’s next development in another historic
quarter of Worcester and the Directors of Livity look forward to ongoing relations with Elfin Kitchens.”

Commenting on the project, Bob Andrew Managing Director at Elfin Kitchens said “It was a pleasure
working with Nick. His choice of kitchen specification and contrasting splash-backs look spot on and
certainly stand out. Its always nice to see the finished product looking so good especially when the room
around it is designed to a very high standard.”
